Pengembangan Decision Support System Hybrid untuk Rekomendasi Wisata Kuliner Kota Palembang Berbasis Preferensi Pengguna

Abstract

Culinary tourism is one of the main attractions for both local communities and tourists when visiting a region. The large number of culinary destinations in Palembang often makes it difficult for users to determine locations that match their preferences. Therefore, this study aims to design and implement a culinary tourism recommendation system based on a Decision Support System to assist users in selecting culinary destinations effectively. The developed system uses a hybrid recommendation approach by considering several criteria, such as type of food, price range, location, and user ratings. The system development process includes requirements analysis, system design, recommendation modeling, and user interface implementation consisting of a dashboard page and a recommendation page. The dashboard page is used to determine user preferences, while the recommendation page displays a list of culinary destinations sorted based on the best recommendation scores. The implementation results show that the system is able to provide recommendations that are relevant and aligned with user preferences. With this recommendation system, users can obtain information about culinary destinations more quickly, easily, and in a structured manner, thereby improving the effectiveness of decision-making. The developed system is expected to assist both local communities and tourists in finding culinary tourism destinations in Palembang and can be further enhanced by adding more features and comprehensive data in the future.
