The use of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) technology has become an efficient solution for providing accurate geospatial data. This study aims to analyze the accuracy of orthophotos and Digital Elevation Models (DEM) generated from UAV acquisition using Ground Control Points (GCP) and Independent Check Points (ICP). Aerial photography was conducted in Tugu Village, Rejotangan District, Tulungagung Regency at an altitude of 253 meters, producing 881 photos with a spatial resolution of 6.13 cm/pixel covering an area of 11.7 km². The research methods included GCP and ICP measurements, aerial photo processing through orthorectification using scenarios of 4 and 6 GCPs, DEM generation, and accuracy testing using 7 ICPs. The results indicate that increasing the number of GCPs from 4 to 6 improves both horizontal and vertical accuracy. The horizontal RMSE for 4 GCPs was 0.8393 meters with CE90 of 1.2736 meters, while for 6 GCPs it was 0.6766 meters with CE90 of 1.0268 meters. Vertical accuracy improved from RMSE 3.3418 meters (LE90 5.5136 meters) to RMSE 2.4987 meters (LE90 4.1226 meters). The study shows that UAV data supported by GCP and ICP meets the accuracy standards for 1:25,000 scale mapping class 1 and class 2 and provides recommendations for the optimal number of GCPs in mapping projects.
