About the Journal

Focus and Scope

Jurnal Pemerintahan dan Politik is the scientific journal of Universitas Indo Global Mandiri that publishes research findings and review papers in the fields of Government and Politics. The journal's scope encompasses all areas related to the science of Government and Politics, including but not limited to: Local Government, Public Services, Government Policy, Government Politics, Government Leadership, Local Politics, Election Studies, Political Parties, Democracy Studies, Civil Society, and other relevant topics. The journal is published quarterly (four times a year) in January, May, August, and November.

ATTENTION

  1. Submissions must use the JPP  Template JPP (Bahasa Indonesia/Inggris);
  2. Manuscripts must align with the scope of the Jurnal Pemerintahan dan Politik.;
  3. The reference list must include at least 25 journal articles/books, with recency requirements of the last 5 years for journals and 10 years for books. Authors are required to cite at least one article from the Jurnal Pemerintahan dan Politik.;
  4. References must be managed using Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote;
  5. The plagiarism similarity score must not exceed 20%;
  6. The maximum file size allowed for submission is 2 MB.

Peer Review Process

After submit inventions have made a preliminary review of the manuscript by the editor of Jurnal Pemerintahan dan Politik. Editor will decide whether the manuscript in accordance with the scope and focus and proper to give to the reviewer. Sometimes, editors may recommend revision before submitting for review. This initial review of activities usually takes a week.

Submissions that pass the initial review will be assigned to at least two reviewers (double-blind peer review). Based on the review editor will first make editorial decisions.

There are five possible editorial decisions (1) the manuscript is accepted; (2) be amended; (3) re-submit; (4) is sent to another publisher; or (5) is rejected.

Typically, the time frame of delivery to the first editor of the average results of 1 week.

The time to reach a final decision depends on the number of reviews rotation, perceptive writer etc. Typically, the time frame of delivery by an average of 1-2 months a final decision.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Publication Fee

Jurnal Pemerintahan dan Politik is a journal publication that is not oriented to profit. Therefore, for the publication process, JPP regarding certain costs, namely:

  1. The cost of article submission IDR 0, - (USD 0.-)
  2. If the author's is accepted, than they need to message Contact Person (WA : 0895342415685/08986077560) for more information regarding the publication payment regarding method and fees.
  3. After payment is confirm, than Letter of Acceptance (LoA) will be published by Editor in Chief
