Focus & Scope

Full Research Papers and Short Communications are invited on topics relevant to the Journal’s focus, including the fields of biology and applied biology. The papers scope in field of biology, including ecology, biosystematics, biogeography, ecology, landscape and biodiversity conservation; and applied biology cover biotechnology, veterinary medicine, pests and plant diseases.

Bio Palembanica is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to publishing novel research on advancing biology studies in Indonesia. It publishes original research articles, short communications, and reviews on the following subjects:

Studies on Biodiversity:
- Descriptive and analytical studies of genetic, species, and community diversity
- Novel methods and application of bioinformatics in studying biodiversity
- Studies on Ethnobiology

Ecological Studies:
- Tropical ecology and conservation studies
- Studies on behavioral biology

Biotechnology:
- Sustainable use of tropical biodiversity
- Application of bioinformatics in biotechnology

Manuscripts that are not under the subjects will not be considered to be published.
